Code Word Data Deletion

Request deletion of data associated with Code Word - Cryptogram Puzzle.

Code Word does not require an account and does not store puzzle progress in the cloud. You can still ask Quietly Games to delete service data associated with your installation or a support request.

How to request deletion

  1. Email norris@goosepod.org with the subject “Code Word data deletion request.”
  2. Tell us which service is involved: purchases, friend help, notifications, advertising, analytics, crash diagnostics, or support. Include the Support ID shown in Code Word Settings if one is available.
  3. Do not send a password, full payment-card number, or store sign-in credentials. We may ask for limited additional information needed to locate the record and verify the request.

Data that can be deleted

Depending on the services you used, we can delete or request deletion of records that Quietly Games controls, such as friend-help request records, support correspondence, and an anonymous RevenueCat customer record. Firebase, Google Mobile Ads, Google Play, and other providers process their own service records under their policies; we will direct or submit an applicable deletion request when the provider makes that available to us.

Data stored on your device

Puzzle progress, hints, hearts, downloaded content, onboarding state, and settings stay on your device. Removing Code Word deletes this local app data, subject to Android backup or device restore behavior. Removing the app does not cancel a subscription.

Data that may be retained

Store transaction and entitlement records may be retained by Google Play, RevenueCat, or Quietly Games as needed to restore purchases, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet tax, accounting, store, or legal requirements. Security and anti-abuse records may be retained while needed to protect the service. Backup copies may remain until the relevant provider's normal backup cycle completes.

Timing

Quietly Games will acknowledge a complete request and normally complete actions under our control within 30 days. We will tell you if applicable law, identity verification, a provider process, or a permitted retention obligation requires more time or prevents deletion of a specific record.
