Quietly Games operates Quiet Connect. This policy explains how the app, its optional services, and support channel handle information.
- Quiet Connect does not require an account. Puzzle progress, claimed Daily Stories, started Premium stories, hint balance, settings, and a random support ID are stored on your device. Removing the app may remove this local data.
- The app can download story content from Quietly Games. The content service and its delivery provider may process your IP address and request information to deliver and protect downloads. Puzzle answers and local progress are not uploaded for this purpose.
- Release builds use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports, error stack traces, app state, device and app information, and random installation identifiers to diagnose reliability problems. When enabled for production distribution, Firebase Analytics collects app interactions, session and purchase events, app-instance identifiers, and Android advertising identifiers. It can derive approximate location from an IP address; Quiet Connect does not request GPS location. Analytics is disabled in local and store-testing builds. These services help us understand usage and improve the game, and collected data is encrypted in transit.
- If you enable Daily Story notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging processes a device registration token and a subscription topic containing the app, notification calendar, time zone, and interface language. This is used to send the appropriate Daily reminder. You can turn reminders off in Settings or change notification permission in your device settings. Free stories remain playable without notifications.
- Purchases and restores are handled by the applicable app store and RevenueCat. They may process purchase and entitlement information, app and device information, and service diagnostics needed to display products and confirm access. Quietly Games does not receive your payment card details. A purchase is optional for free content.
- If the optional friend-help feature is enabled and you choose to use it, the app stores random anonymous installation and help credentials locally. A shared link contains a public request capability, not the owner's credential. The service may process request and grant identifiers, limited anti-abuse data, and a short-lived helper cookie. It does not need your contacts, message recipients, story answers, or puzzle progress.
- If you email support, Quietly Games receives your email address, message, and the app version, platform, interface language, and support ID included in the draft. You can edit the draft before sending it. Support messages are retained as needed to respond and maintain support records.
- Quiet Connect does not require an account or cloud-progress service and does not use these services for cross-app advertising tracking. Service providers may process technical request data, such as an IP address and device information, to operate, secure, and diagnose their services.
