Quietly Games operates Quiet Pages. This policy explains how the app and its support channel handle information.
- Quiet Pages requires no account. Starter stories are bundled with the app. Additional stories download from our content service and remain playable offline after download. Network requests may include technical information such as an IP address, requested content path, and request time; these requests deliver content rather than synchronize your gameplay progress.
- Story progress, hint balances, downloaded content, and settings preferences are stored on your device. Quiet Pages has no Quietly account or cloud-progress service. Removing the app may remove this local data.
- Optional Premium purchases on iOS, Mac, and Android are processed by the platform store and RevenueCat. RevenueCat processes purchase history, transaction and product identifiers, subscription status, and an anonymous app user identifier to validate receipts, unlock Premium, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and provide purchase analytics. Quiet Pages does not supply RevenueCat with your name, email address, or a custom account identifier, and does not receive your payment card details. The Microsoft Store edition is a separate paid app without an in-app Premium purchase flow.
- Firebase Analytics records app opens and product interactions such as level starts and completions, Daily activity, hints, feedback and rating actions, and paywall, purchase, and restoration outcomes. Events may include technical context such as app version, platform, language, story or chapter identifiers, and product identifiers.
- Firebase services, including Firebase Crashlytics, may process a Device identifier, Coarse location derived from an IP address, app, device, and operating-system information, Product interaction, Crash data, Performance data, and Other diagnostic data.
- Firebase Remote Config may process country, language, time zone, operating-system version, app ID, and bundle ID for configuration and service diagnostics. Remote configuration is not required to start or play bundled content.
- Firebase and RevenueCat data is used for analytics and app functionality, including understanding aggregate usage, diagnosing crashes, validating purchases, and measuring performance.
- Meta advertising measurement on iOS. Starting with the iOS update that includes Meta App Events, Quiet Pages requests permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. Meta App Events is initialized only when you allow tracking. It measures app installs, app sessions, puzzle starts and completions, tutorial completion, and story completion. Meta may process an app-scoped device identifier, app and operating-system information, network information such as an IP address, SDK diagnostics and crash information, and these product interactions. With your permission, Meta may link that information with data from other apps or websites to measure Quiet Pages advertising. Quiet Pages keeps collection of Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA) disabled and does not send Meta your name, email, support identifier, searched words, or purchase and restoration events.
- You may decline the tracking request and continue playing. If you decline, Quiet Pages does not initialize Meta App Events; Apple’s SKAdNetwork may still provide aggregate install attribution without giving us your identity. You can change tracking permission in iOS Settings. Quiet Pages checks permission before sending new manual Meta events. The Meta integration described here applies to iOS, not the Mac, Android, or Microsoft Store editions.
- Quietly Games does not sell your personal information. There is no Quietly account; purchase records are associated with RevenueCat’s anonymous app user identifier so that Premium access can be validated and restored.
- If you email support, Quietly Games receives your email address, message, and any device or diagnostic details you choose to include. Support messages are retained only as needed to answer and maintain support records.
- Google processes Firebase data under its published Firebase privacy, security, and retention practices. RevenueCat processes purchase data under its privacy policy. Meta processes information under its privacy policy. Apple explains the related store disclosures in its app privacy guidance.
- Privacy questions and requests can be sent to norris@goosepod.org. There is no account-deletion flow because this release has no account or cloud-progress service.
- Quiet Pages is not directed to children under 13. Material changes to this policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
